About David Ward, LCSW, LADC
David Ward is a psychotherapist in private practice in Yarmouth, Maine, offering individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been helping people change and grow for fifteen years. He earned his Master's Degree from the Boston University School of Social Work, specializing in clinical group work, and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Maine. He has also completed post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Group Psychotherapy at the Northeast Society for Group Psychotherapy’s training program in Newton, MA., and the Boston Institute of Psychotherapy’s Group Observation Training Program. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Northeast Society for Group Psychotherapy, the Maine Association for Specialists in Group Work, the Maine Clinical Counselors Association, and the the Maine Counseling Association. David uses compassion and humor in helping people make healthy changes.
